Kids Bushcraft- Wood Fun

Join our expert leaders, Rob and Joan for this one-of-a-kind kids bushcraft experience. In this session they will guide you through the skills involved in working with wood.

You will begin by exploring the woodland setting at Finnebrogue and look for different types of wood to work with. Learning about the biodiversity and being responsible and sustainable in woodland environments as you explore. Wood gathered you will then return to Base Camp to get to work!

At Base Camp Rob and Joan will guide you in the skills needed to make your own creation. Learn how to correctly and safely use knife, saw and other chopping tools.

This is a hands-on experience, where kids will enjoy the outdoors, learn new skills and have a lot of fun too! This exposure will build resilience and confidence in a natural setting. We always fit in time to enjoy a chat around the campfire and a tasty hot chocolate!
