Wild Garlic & Steak


During this all day immersive experience you will get to enjoy the best of what Finnebrogue has to offer – stunning scenery, foraging natural ingredients and cooking your own grass fed Dexter steak over fire.
Following a quick introduction and cup of coffee you will be guided on a leisurely walk round the lake to forage for some natural ingredients especially in season wild garlic.

On return to the tipi wild kitchen you will assist chef Rory in preparing the fire for cooking before preparing your wild garlic pesto and butter. Once the fires reach temperature it’s time for the serious business of selecting and cooking your steak and accompanying flat bread.
All that’s left to do is sit in the tipi, fire roaring, pour a glass of red and get tucked into the fruits of your labour. What’s not to love………

Event Preparation Info

This experience commences at 10am- 4pm, follow the signs to the Bushcraft & Wild Cooking carpark where you will be welcomed by a member of our team. The experience is outdoors so please come prepared to spend the whole time outdoors in all-weather types, bring warm clothes, suitable footwear for a 2km walk on uneven ground, and most importantly a few drinks of your choice to enjoy.
