Easter Bushcraft Camp

Join us this Easter for our Family Bushcraft Camp at Finnebrogue Woods.

Spend quality time with your child outdoors in nature this Easter. The camp is running over 3 days, you can join for 1,2 or 3 days and you can camp out also if you wish.

The details:

Day 1: Tuesday 22nd April 1-4pm

Day 2: Wednesday 23rd April 1-4pm

Day 3: Thursday 24th April 1-4pm

The camp out add on is from 4pm until 10am the following morning.

This experience is best suited to school aged children.

All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Course Outline:

Day 1: Family Foraging- Your leaders will take you on a forage
around Finnebrogue Estate, you will then add what you have
foraged to your evening meal or if you are not camping with us you
can take it home to add to your family meal. There will be a
beautiful walk around Finnebrogue Estate on this first day.

Day 2: Bushcraft Fun- Spend the afternoon at our bushcraft camp and get the opportunity to do a number of bushcraft activities, including building your own shelter to sleep in (if you're brave enough) or bring your tent just in case! Those camping will get the opportunity to cook their food pack over the campfire under the guidance of Rob and Joan.

Day 3: Family Fire Making- Will your family team be able to light a
fire from nothing more than what we find in Finnebrogue Woods? Those who are camping get the opportunity
to cook over their own fire- can you
keep your fire alight to cook your tea?

Tickets:

Day only child & accompanying adult £45

Day + Overnight Camp child & accompanying adult £75 (own tent required, includes fire food pack for the evening)
