Seasonal Foraging

£60.00

Enjoy a day of foraging in the beautiful Finnebrogue Woods.

Join our Chief Instructor Rob as he leads your foraging walk through the Woods or along the Lecale Coastline. We run a number of foraging courses, specialising in different areas.

For 2025 we have, Mushroom Foray, Medicinal Foraging, Wild Food Foraging and from May 2025 our new Costal Forage.

Rob will safely guide you through identifying and collecting seasonal greens, herbs, vegetables, fungi and berries. With his expert eye you will explore, taste and nibble your way through the woods. For the new Costal Foraging experience you will make your way along the Lecale Way meeting and returning to Ballyhornan Car Park.

Armed with your forager's basket, you can enjoy collecting seasonal edibles whilst also exploring the stunning woods or coastline. Don't worry, Rob will be on hand to help identify what can safely be eaten and also to point out the more sinister lookalikes to avoid!

The time of year and course selected will determine what you find in the wild at Finnebrogue Woods.

As we know foraging is hungry and thirsty work, the course also includes a campfire lunch - this also is included on the costal foraging.

Ticket Price: £60
