Field Dressing & Camp Cooking
Join Bushman George & Chef Rory in the woods for a very exciting hands on experience set in our woodland bushcamp.
The first part of the day involves George teaching you basic field butchery skills including the gutting, skinning, and jointing something seasonal from the estate. This is usually a wood pigeon or rabbit. Each guest will get the opportunity to have a go dressing the meat themselves.
You will then gather around the campfire with Chef Rory to cook the results of your morning over the fire. You will be introduced to primitive Bushcraft cooking techniques and will learn how to cook with no utensils.
This is a hands on experience using your newly acquired skills to produce a scrumptious lunch deep in the woods.
This is a very special and unique way to spend a day in the woods, learning new skills and eating delicious seasonal food.
