Fire Cooking Experience
JOIN US FOR A DAY OF FIRE FUELLED MEATY MADNESS IN OUR WILD TIPI KITCHEN
This experience focuses on different methods of fire cookery from the beginning of time to modern day techniques - you will be cooking over open fire coals and embers, learning how to set up an Asador Grill, fire up the Big Brai and hoist a giant iron grill over our tipi fire pit. You will master how to set up your BBQ for quick fire grills, hot and cold smoke in the whiskey barrel smokery, bake in the hand-crafted clay oven or a cast iron Dutch oven hanging over an open fire.
Wild Chef Dan will share his signature rubs and baste recipes with you, using ingredients from the wild and our field store hut.
Lunch will be a full-on feast of delicious, locally sourced seasonal meaty treats with a variety of grilled, smoked and roasted sides washed down with a foraged cocktail. Each tasty dish is designed to celebrate the seasons and fire up your senses.
Our Fire Cooking experience is designed to be informative yet relaxed. Whether you’re flying solo, attending as a pair or part of a bigger group you can expect to get your hands dirty and hair smoky in the great outdoors surrounded by crackling fires, and to leave the woods feeling fresh-faced, revitalised and somewhat enchanted by cooking in the wild.
Please note…this experience is DEFINITELY not suitable for Vegetarians! Suitable for Adults and Children aged 16+.
