Shinrin Yoku or Forest Bathing, emerged in Japan where a lot of research has been done into its positive impact on physical and mental health.
We are delighted to offer this new experience in the Woods, facilitated by Shinrin Yoku practitioner Tony Bailie of Crann Forest Therapy.
A typical session lasts two hours, you will be immersed in your surroundings in Finnebrogue Woods and take part in a series of sensory meditations; sound, smell, sight, touch and even taste to help relax in this peaceful, private retreat surrounded by ancient
woodland.

Mark the start of the winter solstice this year with a deep dive into nature in Finnebrogue Woods ancient woodland.
In the ancient Irish tradition the winter solstice was know ‘Grianstad an Gheimhridh’ (sun stands still) when at symbolic level we move into the darkest days of the year and prepare to emerge back into light.
