Lughnasadh Feast Night
Lughnasadh Feast Night
Friday 8th August
7pm-11pm
Tickets £65
BYOB
Join us for a feast around the flames in the Woods.
Chef Rory Gorman will be cooking a feast as a nod to the ancient Celtic celebration of Lughnasadh, with a focus on flavours from the surrounding woodland.
Our feast night will take place in our beautiful, private Wild Tipi; deep in the Finnebrogue Forest, it really is a stunning setting.
Menu
Welcome drink of wildflowers & forest fruits
Irish grain sourdough with hedge herb butter & garden pickles
Coal roasted courgette, fermented green chilli & pistachio romesco
Ash baked sweet potato, wildflower vinegar & wild lemon labneh
Oak roast Dexter beef, smashed potato & summer greens, wild thyme & red wine gravy
Preserved peach, charred cherry, oak moss & elderflower cream & tree nut crunch
Due to the ingredients needed for the Feast Night experience any cancellations made within two weeks prior of the event cannot be refunded but we will try our best to transfer (to the value of your booking) to another future experience of your choice.
Event Preparation Info
On arrival to Finnebrogue Woods follow the signs to the Bushcraft & Wild Cooking car park. Although covered by a tipi with heating if required, it is advisable to dress for the elements. The event is BYOB.
Dietary Requirements
Our Feast menus are carefully curated and lovingly prepared in our remote woodland kitchen, with a strong focus on local, seasonal produce. Due to the nature of the menu we unfortunately do not recommend booking if you have an allergy to nuts. Preparing a separate menu to cater for individual dietary needs is not possible on this occasion.
