Primitive Smoked Food


Wild cooking in the Woods, join us for this practical, hands-on course teaching the skill of smoking different foods.

Join our expert Bushcraft Instructor Rob for a unique and immersive experience.

Rob will introduce you to the concept of smoking food, you will taste different smoked foods, prepare your own Brine, learn about using wood for flavours & seasoning, learn to build primitive smokers, how to manage the fire and smoke the meat.

This experience is a fantastic way to spend the day surrounded by nature, learning new skills.

The day will finish with a late lunch where you can enjoy the food you have prepared.

Please note- the eating element is primitive and will be towards the end of the day, so a good breakfast is recommended.

Event Preparation Info

This experience commences at 10am- 4pm, follow the signs to the Bushcraft & Wild Cooking carpark where you will be welcomed by a member of our team. The experience is outdoors so please come prepared to spend the whole time outdoors in all-weather types, sturdy footwear is essential.
