For woodland explorers aged 4 - 7 years
Our Wild Ones sessions invite children to step into the rhythm of the seasons and discover the wonders of the woodland as they grow and change throughout the year. Through playful learning in nature - from blending into the landscape during hide-and-seek, to exploring simple bushcraft skills, listening to stories of woodlore, and creating crafts from natural materials - children are encouraged to follow their curiosity and connect with the world around them.
These experiences offer so many gentle developmental benefits: building confidence, strengthening coordination, nurturing creativity, supporting emotional wellbeing, and helping children understand their place in the natural environment. Each session gives them space to move, imagine, explore, and learn in ways that feel both joyful and grounding.
Our Wild Ones are guided by Joan Noade, a Forest School Leader and Playworker with over 25 years of experience. Joan brings a warm, steady presence, a heartfelt passion for outdoor play, and a depth of knowledge that helps every child feel welcome, capable, and excited to return to the woods again and again.

This experience is suitable for those aged 4-7 years. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Event Preparation Info
Our sessions take place outdoors in all weather. Please come prepared with warm, waterproof clothing and sturdy footwear. Puddle suits and wellies recommended.Terms & Conditions: To protect the environment and ensure a high-quality fun experience, we limit group sizes and often have waiting lists.
