The experience is outdoors and in water so please come prepared to spend the whole time outdoors in all-weather types, and bring a change of clothes if you wish. Terms & Conditions To protect the environment and ensure a high-quality fun experience, we limit group sizes and often have waiting lists. Some experiences require us to order resources/food in advance, so if you need to cancel, please let us know as early as possible. • Cancel 1 month or more in advance: Full refund • Cancel 2 weeks in advance: Credit towards another experience of equal value • Cancel 1 week or less: No refund • Cancel by Finnebrogue Woods (e.g. due to high winds): Full Refund

Paddle & Bushcraft


Join George Anthony one of our Bushcraft Leaders on our Paddle and Bushcraft Experience on Finnebrogue Lough.

George is an experienced Wilderness Expedition leader in canoe paddling, bushcraft and wilderness First Aid. We are excited for the remainder of 2026  to launch some new options for our paddling & bushcraft experiences.  Watch this space around mid September for October paddling.


Paddle & Bushcraft Full Day

Dates: New dates for 2027 will be going live in November 2027

Complete your Bushcraft Basics first and then after lunch receive your paddle instruction and go out onto Finnebroue Lough accompanied by a paddle instructor.  This experience includes lunch around the campfire at 1.00 pm.

Time: 10 am - 4 pm

Tickets: £80 includes campfire lunch

Paddle & Lunch 3 Hour Experience (4 people max)

Paddle & Lunch in Fodder in the Woods

Dates:  New Dates will be opening in mid September 2026

Come and get instruction from our Bushcraft Leader and then go out onto the Lough to paddle at your own pace.  Then when finished on the water your table for lunch will be ready for you at Fodder in the Woods from 12 noon - 1 pm.

Time: 10 am - 1 pm

Tickets: £50 includes a set lunch at Fodder in the woods for one hour.

Please note that we check the forecast prior to events but sometimes the wind can pick up on the day of the experience.  The Bushcraft Leader will make final decision prior to going out on the Lough.
