Joan Noade manages the development of outdoor experiences here at Finnebrogue Woods. Her passion for getting outdoors is infectious!
Joan leads our experiences for children, young people and families, she loves to share her knowledge and is genuinely enthusiastic about getting all ages outdoors! Joan has 26 years of experience and this is evident when she delivers. In recent years she has been focusing on the importance of building outdoor play through Forest Schools and Bushcraft here and the benefits getting outside has for everyone.
Joan has a degree in Education, she is also a Walking for Heath Leader, Mountain Leader, a Mountain Rescue Volunteer, Early Years Specialist, Playworker, Forest School Leader and is trained in First Aid and Child Safeguarding.
Joan loves to find time to go hiking, camping, paddleboarding, writing and rowing.
Bushcraft Leader George Anthony joined the team in the Summer of 2022, he's gained extensive experience over the last 20 years instructing Duke of Edinburgh participants and leading expeditions to the Himalayas and South America, gaining mountain leader and paddle instructor qualifications along the way.
His passion for the wild outdoors shines through in his meticulous bushcraft delivery-which is really engaging and enjoyable! George has many bushcraft, mountain leader & paddling skills to share and enjoys doing so.
